Exercise Class
Weston County Senior Center, 627 Pine Street
Exercise class begins with cheerful music and unrealistic confidence. Ten squats later, everyone questions life choices. The instructor chirps, “Feel the burn!” while we feel betrayal. We copy moves half a beat late, wobble heroically, applaud stretching, and limp out proud, sweaty, and strangely convinced we’ll return next week anyway.
GiGi's Closet
First United Methodist Church, 23 N Seneca Ave
Gently used clothing: because who needs brand-new when you can rock a shirt with character? These clothes have been around the block, but they’re still stylish, comfy, and ready for their next adventure. Think of it as “vintage,” not “used.” Fashion with a story to tell!
Cribbage
Weston County Senior Center, 627 Pine Street
Cribbage: where math meets mischief! You’ll peg points for pairs, runs, and yelling “fifteen-two!” like a genius. One minute you're winning, the next you're feeding your opponent points in their crib. It's a rollercoaster of strategy, luck, and “Why did I keep that five?!” chaos. Peg fast, laugh faster!
Take Off Pounds Sensibly TOPS #218
Weston County Senior Center, 627 Pine Street
Losing weight? Just think of it as evicting unwanted roommates—like chips, soda, and that 2 a.m. pizza. Your treadmill might squeak, your salad might judge you, but you're doing it! Keep going—you’re one celery stick away from greatness (or at least fitting into those jeans without a prayer). You’ve got this!

Bridge
Weston County Senior Center, 627 Pine Street
Every Friday, four friends played bridge like pros—if pros forgot rules, misbid constantly, and accused each other of sabotage. Bob once trumped his own ace. Sue played Uno by mistake. Dave thought “dummy” was an insult. Mike just showed up for snacks. No one won. Ever. Except maybe the chips.
Newcastle Farmers Market
Downtown Newcastle, between First Northern Bank parking lot and the Library
Come out to our local farmers market—where fresh produce, homemade treats, and friendly faces await! Enjoy crisp apples, vibrant veggies, homemade goodies and more! Support local growers, discover unique crafts, and taste the difference. It’s more than shopping—it’s a community gathering. See you Thursday!
