The 2025 Newcastle High School All-School Reunion, held over Fourth of July weekend, promises a fun-filled celebration for all alumni. Activities include dances, socials, and class parties, as well as sporting events like basketball, flag football, golf, and cross country. Enjoy a parade, historical re-enactments, fireworks, and the chance to reconnect with old friends, making for a memorable weekend of community and nostalgia. All-School Reunion Men's Alumni Basketball Tournament

NHS All-School Reunion and Coach Von Eye with Newcastle Basketball is bringing an Alumni Basketball Tournament to our festivities! Our program will include a 3pt contest, a Dunk contest, and a 5v5 Basketball Tournament. Grab your #DogieNation buddies from your era and put together a TEAM! All proceeds go to the Newcastle Boys Basketball Team.

Food Pantry Box Distribution

Kitty Moats Complex, Osage

Kitty Moats Complex will be distributing food pantry boxes on the FIRST and THIRD Friday of each month from 2-5PM in the auditorium. If interested in receiving a box, please come to Kitty Moats or contact Myrna Garhart at 605-390-7402 or Janice Heard at 307-251-5373. You will need to provide your name, phone number and how many adults, children and seniors are in your household.

The News Letter Journal and the Weston County School District #1 Education Endowment Foundation will be hosting a reception at the NHS Commons to welcome alumni and provide information about the community and reunion events. Take advantage of this opportunity to reconnect with old friends and coordinate your plans for the big weekend. Tours of Newcastle High School, Newcastle Middle School and the Kozisek Aquatic Center will be conducted from 5 to 8 p.m.

Unveiling of NHS Wall of Recognition

Newcastle Equipment, proud sponsor of “Dogie Nation” since 1981, invites you to the unveiling of the NHS Wall of Recognition touch-screen kiosks. The kiosks were donated in memory of Ronnie and Mary Mills, for their support of WCSD#1, and their love for the Dogies. Join us Thursday, July 3, at 5:30PM in NHS Commons, during the opening events of the All-School Reunion.  The 65” touch-screen systems will include Hall of Fame inductees, academic, athletic, activities, clubs, historical photos/info, and donors.
