The Lions Club is well known for their work with sight-related issues, having started their work on vision care and blindness prevention. Lions help provide vision screenings, donate eyeglasses, and support blindness prevention programs. Summer Classic Drag

From July 17–19, Newcastle will be bustling with activity. Over these three days, the city will host the Summer Classic Drags, which will bring motocross, autocross and drag racers from locations both near and far. Events include a poker run, a meet and greet for drivers, a casino night, and more! Car enthusiast can also look forward to a car show, and everyone will enjoy the live bands and various vendors. Drag racing on Main Street, an awards ceremony and buffet will cap off this exciting event! Come and enjoy this first time, fun event in Newcastle!
