Weston County School District #1 Budget Hearing

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing for the Budget for the 2025-2026 school year for Weston County School District #1 will be held in the Boardroom of the Administration Building, 116 Casper Avenue, Newcastle WY on July 16, 2025 at 8:00 p.m., at which time any and all persons interested may appear and be heard by the Board of Trustees.  

A summary of such proposed budget follows:

GENERAL FUND $16,952,000                     

MAJOR MAINTENANCE FUND $1,766,204

SPECIAL REVENUE FUND $13,823

CAPITAL CONSTRUCTION FUND $2,468

FOOD SERVICE FUND $455,000

AGENCY FUND $69,179

FEDERAL FUNDS $1,000,000 

EASTERN WESTON COUNTY RECREATION
DISTRICT FUND $273,018     

TOTAL $20,531,692
