ORDINANCE NO. 2, 2025

 

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE SEC. 4-12 OF THE NEWCASTLE TOWN CODE; 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWCASTLE, WESTON COUNTY, WYOMING;

SECTION 4-12 OF THE NEWCASTLE, WYOMING MUNICIPAL CODE BE AMENDED READING IN ITS ENTIRETY AS FOLLOWS:

“It shall be unlawful for any dog or cat owner to keep a dog or cat that is a public nuisance or permit a dog or cat to be a public nuisance; and each day that such a dog or cat is kept or permitted to be a public nuisance shall constitute a separate offense. A dog or cat shall be deemed a public nuisance if said dog or cat:

(a) Excessively barks, howls, or yowls while outdoors and disturbs the peace and tranquility of any person; or

(b) Chases motor vehicles, bicycles, or persons on foot; or

(c) Destroys or injures property.
