This confronts the truth that every believer has been drafted into active service for Christ. Faith is not civilian life. It is duty, obedience, and readiness.

NOTICE OF INDUCTION
You Are Hereby Ordered to Report for Duty

(Read this like it came in the mail)

This notice serves to inform you that you have been called into active service. Your induction is not voluntary, nor is it subject to delay, exemption, or personal preference. By virtue of your allegiance, you are hereby ordered to report for duty. Civilian status is no longer recognized. You have been assigned to active deployment under the authority of your Commander, and you are expected to conduct yourself accordingly.

This call to service is issued pursuant to your confession of loyalty. You declared allegiance when you identified yourself as belonging to Christ. That declaration carried obligation. You were not enlisted as a spectator. You were called as a soldier.

“Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him.” 2 Timothy 2:3–4

Neutrality is not permitted. Civilian pursuits may no longer take precedence.

Your assignment does not exempt you from hardship. Active service includes resistance, opposition, loss of comfort, and separation from the world. You are advised that this deployment may result in rejection, misunderstanding, and suffering. These outcomes do not invalidate the order. They confirm it.

You are commissioned as a representative operating under authority.

“Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.” 2 Corinthians 5:20

Silence is not an acceptable response. Inaction does not constitute obedience. Failure to act does not void the call.

You have been issued standard equipment and are expected to make proper use of it.

“Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.” Ephesians 6:13

You are reminded that your primary offensive weapon has already been provided.

“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” Ephesians 6:17

Ignorance of this weapon will not be accepted as an excuse.

Your deployment is effective immediately upon receipt of this notice. Further instruction will be issued through Scripture and the leading of the Spirit. You are expected to remain alert and prepared at all times.

Pick up your sword and go.

Failure to report does not nullify the call.
