Man accused of destroying $100K of vaccines pleads not guilty

CASPER (WNE) — A Casper man accused of destroying more than $100,000 of vaccines at a children’s clinic and vandalizing multiple other locations around Casper pleaded not guilty in district court on Friday to charges of property destruction, interference, stalking and trespassing.
Adam Bigham, born 1990, faces a total of nine charges in the case.
Bigham was arrested by officers on Jan. 3 after a business owner reported that he recognized “a man wearing brown pants and a gray jacket” from security footage of an individual spray-painting the exterior of his Yellowstone Highway business.
According to court documents, the man vandalized the building and a highway sign.
Bigham has been charged with five counts of property destruction in relation to incidents at the Yellowstone Highway business, Sage Primary Care, Casper Children’s Clinic and others.
Authorities allege Bigham caused the damage at Casper Children’s Clinic on Christmas Day by shutting off the business’s backup generator, causing the refrigerators storing “approximately $100,0000 of vaccines” to fail and exceed safe storage temperatures.
A handyman called by the clinic found the cover of the generator removed and the master switch and gas line valve were both switched off, preventing the generator from receiving fuel and the main power lines from drawing from the city’s grid.
The affidavit alleges Bigham spray painted a person’s name at multiple locations around the city.
After he was brought into custody, Bigham told officers he suffered from meth and fentanyl addiction and had last used on the morning he was arrested, according to the affidavit. He also told officers that his substance abuse and mental health caused him to not remember all the incidents he was alleged of and denied incidents where he didn’t appear on camera.
