Wyoming’s average gas prices jump by 6.5 cents a gallon in past week

CHEYENNE (WNE) — Average gasoline prices in Wyoming have risen 6.5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.48 per gallon Monday, according to GasBuddy.com’s survey of 494 stations in Wyoming.
Prices in Wyoming are 2.4 cents per gallon higher than a month ago, and stand 40.3 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
According to GasBuddy price reports, the lowest price in the state Sunday was $2.09 per gallon, while the highest was $2.99, a difference of 90 cents per gallon.
The national average price of gasoline has risen 7.5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.84 per gallon Monday. The national average is up 3.6 cents per gallon from a month ago, and stands 23.9 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data.
