Wyoming G&F offers gift ideas

CODY (WNE) — The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has some suggestions for gifts this Christmas:  six presents perfect for people who like to hunt, fish or enjoy wildlife. 

• Wyoming Wildlife Conservation License Plate –  The current plate features the pronghorn. The initial price of the plate is $180, with $150 going to the Wildlife Conservation Fund, and a $50 renewal fee each year in addition to registration fees. The plate is available anytime, not just with renewals.  Proceeds from the plates’ sales help fund overpasses, underpasses, fencing and signage to prevent vehicle-animal collisions along wildlife migration corridors. 
• Resident lifetime licenses or conservation stamps – These licenses and stamps are available for residents who have lived in Wyoming for at least 10 years. A resident lifetime small game/bird and resident lifetime fishing licenses are $311 each. They can both be purchased, plus a lifetime conservation stamp, for $681.50. For those who have lived in Wyoming for less than 10 years, a lifetime conservation stamp is an option for $185.50.
• Wyoming Wildlife 2026 calendar – The calendar celebrates Wyoming’s wildlife, featuring photos taken by talented photographers from across the nation and submitted to the calendar photo contest. Calendars are $15.
• “Wyoming Wildlife” magazine subscription –  Published 12 times a year for anglers, hunters and wildlife enthusiasts, the magazine is filled with incredible photography, stories about wildlife, and news about the state’s rare animals, unique experiences and G&F projects. • Wyoming Super Tag raffle tickets – : The winner has the opportunity to purchase one or more big game and trophy game licenses. Applications are available by species, with one winner selected in February for each of the 10 species.  Super Tag applications are $10 each, and Super Tag Trifecta applications are $30 each.  Entries are accepted through January.
• Game and Fish Gift Store – The store is stocked with a new selection of unique wildlife memorabilia, housewares, apparel and books. Products are available in the online Gift Shop.
