Watching Weston

Weston County is making a lot of news statewide this week. From the debate regarding legislative reapportionment for rural counties to the Wyoming Legislature’s subcommittee formed to look into Weston County Clerk Becky Hadlock’s conduct and actions surrounding mistakes made in the 2024 general election, our county’s issues are front and center in Cheyenne.

We’re proud of the role the News Letter Journal played in elevating these stories — making sure they were important enough to draw the legislature’s attention — and proud of our ongoing work to amplify the voice of Weston County so the state understands what matters here.
