TAMMY McDOUGALL:March 3, 1959–May 10, 2026

Tammy McDougall, a beloved resident of Newcastle, Wyoming, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026, at Weston County Manor. 

Born on March 3, 1959, in Newcastle, Tammy’s journey was marked by resilience and joy. 

Tammy spent her early years in Newcastle until the age of 15, after which she moved to Renew and became a resident of a group home in Sheridan, Wyoming. In October 2022, she returned to Newcastle, calling Weston County Manor her home. 

Throughout her life, Tammy was actively involved in the Special Olympics and found treasured fellowship within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Known for her vibrant spirit and warm heart, Tammy loved shopping for new clothes, enjoying bowling, traveling, ceramics, and especially playing Bingo, always striving for the blackout win. These interests brought her great happiness and allowed her to build many cherished memories with friends and family.

Tammy is survived by her mother, Paula Lerae (Pillen) McDougall; her twin brother, Tim (Siri) McDougall, and siblings, Cindy McDougall, Vickie (Dennis) Switzer, Robert (RaDona) McDougall, and Jason (Brooke) McDougall. She is remembered fondly by all who knew her for her kindness and the joy she spread.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne McDougall; her grandparents, Leeland and Evelyn McDougall, and Nathan and Virginia Pillen; and by her niece, Trinity McDougall, and nephew, Paul Switzer.

A memorial service will be held to honor Tammy’s life on May 29 from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, located at 120 Ash Street, Newcastle.

Tammy McDougall’s life, marked by strength and love, left an indelible impression on her community and family. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew her.
