TORRINGTON (WNE) β€” A multi-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck and a pickup caused a temporary highway closure Tuesday afternoon near LaGrange, according to the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

At approximately 1:43 p.m. on Jan. 21, WHP troopers were dispatched to mile marker 9 on Wyoming Highway 151 following reports of a collision between a semi and a pickup truck.

According to WHP Senior Public Relations Specialist and Public Information Officer Aaron Brown, a military pickup truck was traveling westbound when it crossed the center line and collided with an eastbound semi truck.

β€œThe vehicles collided at a slight angle, impacting the driver-side front corners of both vehicles,” Brown said.

The crash blocked the highway for approximately three hours while emergency crews worked the scene and cleared debris.

LaGrange Fire Department, the Goshen County Sheriff’s Office and the Wyoming Department of Transportation also responded to the incident.

Scanner traffic from Panhandle Scanner initially reported a complete road blockage at the intersection of Highway 151 and County Road 61, describing the crash as major. Authorities later confirmed that all individuals involved were alive.

No serious injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

Brown said driver fatigue on the part of the pickup driver is being investigated as a possible contributing factor. Charges related to the incident are currently pending.

The WHP continues to investigate the crash.
