Pokes in the Playoffs: Championship Round

LARAMIE, Wyoming (1/26/26) – Whichever way the AFC Championship game fell Sunday, the University of Wyoming was going to have a former student-athlete competing for a Super Bowl ring. New England hung on in blizzard-like conditions to defeat Denver, 10-7, sending Chad Muma to the biggest sporting event on the calendar.

Muma made one tackle in the road victory, giving him two tackles during the Patriots’ playoff run. In addition to the regular season, he’s made 11 tackles between his time in Indianapolis and New England.

Fellow former Poke, Frank Crum, is the Cowboy going home. He played 16 snaps for the Broncos, nine on offense and seven on special teams. For the season, Crum participated in 168 snaps.

The Super Bowl is set for Feb. 8 at 4:30 p.m. It will pit Muma’s Patriots against the Seattle Seahawks.
