Missing Cody man found deceased

POWELL (WNE) — A 36-year-old Cody man who had gone missing on April 5 was found deceased last week.  

Shawn Ezekiel Hughes had last been seen at Yellowstone Regional Airport, and his body was found Thursday inside a vehicle parked at the airport. 

Hughes, who was from North Carolina, leaves behind a long-time partner and children, along with other family members and friends. 

While an official cause of death remains pending, Park County Coroner Cody Gortmaker said Monday that there were no signs of foul play.

Police had been informed that Hughes might be suffering from a mental health episode when he went missing.
