JASON MATTHEW GREENE: Jan. 18, 2004–Aug. 9, 2026

Jason Matthew Greene, 22, of Newcastle, Wyoming, died unexpectedly on Aug. 9, 2026, in his home.

Jason was born Jan. 18, 2004, in Rapid City, South Dakota. He attended Newcastle Elementary School. In subsequent years he attended school in multiple other states, then returned to Newcastle in his sophomore year. He graduated from Newcastle High School in 2022.

He was raised by his mother, Kimberly Domina, with help from her family and friends. His father is deceased.

Jason worked at Isabella’s Restaurant since before high school graduation, except for a year at Cleaning with Kindness. He then returned to Isabella’s. He was working as head cook at Isabella’s at the time of his death. He loved playing guitar. 

Jason was an avid outdoorsman. He loved camping and fishing. He was an excellent marksman, achieving first place in shooting competitions. He was an expert at taking guns apart and reassembling them, and he reloaded his own ammunition. Jason had multiple friends whom he went camping and fishing with often. He was loved by so many people and will be greatly missed by all who knew him in the community. Those who knew him will never forget his great sense of humor and wit.

He is survived by his mother, Kimberly; his grandparents, Lonnie and Angela, and Jody; aunts, Cindy (Josh), Alisha and Lisa; special friends, Dusty and Heather; and multiple cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Stephen; and uncle, Mark. 

A memorial will be held at a later date.
