Kogler, the Stillwater, Minn., native, won his first conference weekly award after an impressive meet at the UNLV Invitational. In the 200-yard backstroke, Kogler would post a first-place time of 1:43.44, good for the new No. 2 time in program history. He won the 200-yard IM with a time of 1:46.48 and set four personal bests throughout the meet. He would also lead off the 400-yard freestyle relay that took third with a time of 2:56.11. As the first leg, his 100-yard freestyle was a personal record at 44.76.
Kogler joins sophomore Isaac Lee as Cowboys to win MPSF Athlete of the Week awards this season. He is also the fifth-ever Wyoming student-athlete to win Athlete of the Week honors in the MPSF.
