Four Pokes in Finals on First Day of the Air Force Diving Invitational

USAFA, Colo. (Jan. 29, 2026) – Senior Alicia Gonazlez and sophomore Kael Kropf lead Wyoming diving on day one of the Air Force Diving Invitational, Thursday.

The morning began with two Cowboys making the final in the 3-meter prelims. Sophomore Jonah Mann entered the finals in ninth with a score of 292.80, his season best, while Kropf finished in 11th at 279.65. Freshman Connor Liddle and junior Bruno Grau finished 14th and 15th, respectively, outside the final cutoff. Liddle scored 266.40, a career best, while Grau totaled 263.70 points.

In the men’s final, Kropf would vastly improve to finish fourth overall. He scored 328.45, an NCAA 3-meter standard, to lead the Cowboys. Mann took ninth in the final with his score of 278.90.

In the women’s 1-meter prelim, Gonzalez would take the top spot into the finals with a score of 271.70, an NCAA standard. She was joined by senior Natalie Six in sixth place with 246.00 points. Freshman Savannah Kierstead would place 37th with 136.00 points.

In the final, Gonzalez started hot before falling to a fourth-place finish of 262.20 points. Six would take 12th overall in the final, scoring 216.15.

UP NEXT

Tomorrow’s action starts with the men’s 1-meter and women’s 3-meter prelims at 10:30 a.m. Finals for the men will begin at 12:25 p.m., while the women’s final starts at 1:10 p.m.
