Fair time

There is something special about fair week in Weston County.

For months, local 4-H and FFA members have spent early mornings, late nights and countless hours caring for livestock, building projects, practicing skills and preparing exhibits. Behind every ribbon, every display and every animal in the show ring is a story of dedication, perseverance and pride.

The Weston County Fair is more than a week of entertainment — it’s a celebration of our community, our agricultural heritage and the young people who represent its future.

Whether you have a family member showing livestock, enjoy browsing the exhibit halls, want to cheer on competitors or simply love the atmosphere that only a county fair can provide, there’s something for everyone. From livestock shows and contests to family activities and the Junior Livestock Sale, every event is an opportunity to support the hard work that has gone into making this year’s fair a success.

Inside, you’ll find special fair features highlighting some of the impressive young people, dedicated staff and invested families whose dedication helps make the Weston County Fair such a success. We’re proud to share their stories and celebrate the people behind one of Weston County’s favorite traditions.
