ETHAN SCHUESSLER

June 7, 1998–May 30, 2025
Ethan Schuessler, a bright spirit known for his loving nature, infectious laughter, and selfless help, was called home to God on May 30, 2025. Though it was sooner than we would have liked, we know that God’s plans are far greater than ours.
Born on June 7, 1998, in Casper, Wyoming, to Tracey Long and Andrew Schuessler, Ethan lived a life full of passion, humor, and dedication to those he loved.
A proud graduate of Newcastle High School, Ethan embodied the values of hard work and commitment. His career spanned several roles — he was a well-respected welder, a personable salesman, and an accomplished horse trainer who shared his love for horses with friends and family alike. Whether he was crafting metal or guiding a horse through its training, Ethan approached every task with enthusiasm and skill.
Ethan was not just defined by his work, he was a beacon of warmth and joy in the lives he touched. His generosity knew no bounds, whether offering a kind word or lending a helping hand. He had a remarkable ability to uplift those around him, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. In Ethan’s pursuit of the Lord, he met his love, Jenna Schuessler. They were married on Oct. 5, 2024. Together they were pursuing what God was calling them to. Ethan planned to attend Frontier School of the Bible this fall to pursue studies in ministry. As a devoted member of Edgemont Baptist Church, he found great fulfillment in nurturing his faith, having been baptized in 2010 at the First Baptist Church and aspiring to become a pastor.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Jenna Schuessler, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Ethan leaves behind his parents, Andrew Schuessler and Tracey Long, who cherished him endlessly; his grandmother, Karen Harris; and his siblings, Kenzee and Drew Schuessler, who will carry forward his legacy of love and laughter.
Ethan joins his paternal grandparents, Ron and Mary Schuessler, his maternal grandfather, Rick Long, and his aunt, Sara Campbell, in eternal rest. They await him in peace, and together they will surely celebrate his life, a life that embodied joy and kindness.
A Celebration of Life in honor of Ethan will be held on June 7 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Gateway Fellowship in Newcastle. This gathering will be a time for family and friends to remember all that Ethan was and the light he brought into the world.
Though Ethan may no longer walk alongside us, his spirit remains vibrant in our hearts. The love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the memories we created together will continue to inspire and comfort us. In our grief, we hold tightly to the beautiful moments and the precious lessons he imparted throughout his life.
