Bob Bonnar and Alexis Barker

We go off the page with a seasoned veteran of Wyoming politics and government to discuss the new political climate that exists in the nation and the world, and how that is being reflected in Weston County and Newcastle. Tracy Hunt served as Weston County Attorney, Weston County Coroner and Weston County Commissioner on the local level, and also had experience in state government as a Game and Fish Commissioner appointed by the governor. We seek his advice on our coverage of crime and courts, discuss the NLJ's efforts to determine if there is election integrity in Weston County, explore the discomfort being produced in the federal government by Donald Trump and the corresponding efforts of the Freedom Caucus in Wyoming, and even dive into the global market and its impact on the state's beef industry.
