Looking Ahead: Growing to Serve You Better
The WCHS Therapy Department isn’t standing still—they’re expanding and innovating to serve Weston County even better. By working more closely with Long Term Care at the Manor, the team is increasing therapy services for residents to improve their quality of life and maintain their independence as long as possible.
In addition, the department is continuing to grow its specialty services, including lymphedema treatment, dry needling, and aquatic therapy. These advanced therapies allow local residents to receive specialized care without having to travel far from home.
Connecting with the Community
To help raise awareness and make therapy services more accessible, WCHS is planning open house events where community members can learn more about
rehabilitation and general health topics directly from
expert therapists. These events will include free screenings to help determine whether someone might benefit from formal therapy services—a great opportunity to take a proactive step toward better health.
