PRECorp offers COVID19 information
From Powder River Energy Cooperative:
In response to ongoing restrictions of person-to-person contact because of the COVID-19 virus outbreak, Powder River Energy will close its office lobbies in Sundance, Gillette, and Sheridan, to public access, beginning Thursday, March 19, until further notice.
PRECorp Member Service Representatives will remain on duty from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and available for personal appointments on a case-by-case basis. In the meantime, cooperative members are encouraged to call 1-800-442-3630, to transact business they would normally have done with an in-person visit. Payment drop boxes at our office locations will remain available. Members are encouraged to use SmartHub for on-line payments and signing of documents. If you are not a SmartHub user today and want to learn more, contact your Member Service Representative.
PRECorp is temporarily suspending disconnects for non-payment for residential members, and non-residential services essential for the protection of the public health, safety and welfare. PRECorp advises all members to keep their accounts current to avoid the accumulation of late fees. Members who are impacted financially or by other circumstances related to the current coronavirus pandemic are encouraged to contact PRECorp at 1-800-442-3630 to discuss account options.
Members of the public should be aware that PRECorp employees are advised to keep a safe distance from others to reduce the risk of virus spread.
This action is precautionary and intended for the well-being of our members and employees, and to help ensure PRECorp can continue to deliver reliable and safe electric service as we all work our way through the current situation.
