Commission announces nominees for Wyoming Supreme Court vacancy

SHERIDAN (WNE) — The Judicial Nominating Commission has completed its consideration of all who have expressed interest in the position of Justice for the Wyoming Supreme Court.

Pursuant to Article 5, § 4 of the Wyoming Constitution, the Judicial Nominating Commission submitted three nominees for the position to Gov. Mark Gordon for his consideration. Those nominees, listed in alphabetical order, are:

• Honorable Stuart S. Healy, III

• Attorney General Bridget Hill

• Anna Reeves Olson

Gordon has 30 days to appoint one of these three nominees to serve as the new Supreme Court Justice.

Current members of the Judicial Nominating Commission are as follows: Chief Justice Kate M. Fox (Chair), three lawyers elected by the Wyoming State Bar: Devon O’Connell of Laramie, Mandy Good of Cheyenne, and Clint Langer of Sheridan; and three non-lawyers appointed by the governor: Lisa Anderson of Shell, Rick Fagnant of Lander, and Rocco O’Neill of Evanston.
