Black Hills Wyoming Gas Public Notice

The Wyoming Public Service Commission (Commission) approved the Application of Black Hills Wyoming Gas, LLC d/b/a Black Hills Energy (BHWG) for authority to pass on a Gas Cost Adjustment (GCA) rate decrease of $0.0291 per therm for Wyoming non-Choice Gas customers, effective for usage on and after June 1, 2025. The rate applies to customers in Cheyenne and Cody divisions and all non-Choice Gas customers in the Casper, Gillette, and Torrington divisions who have elected to take service under the Gas Cost Adjustment Rate. The Commission’s approval is subject to notice, protest, intervention, refund, change, further investigation, opportunity for hearing, and further order.

The proposed gas cost rate will result in a decrease in the monthly bill of $0.38 or 0.9% for a typical BHWG residential customer using a monthly average of 13 therms during June through August 2025. Actual bills will vary with usage.

Anyone desiring to file a statement, intervention petition, protest, or request for a public hearing must file with the Commission on or before August 7, 2025.
