Big 12 Conference Releases Championship Brackets

Joey Novak Garners No. 2 Seed at 197

LARAMIE, Wyoming (3/2/26) – The Big 12 Conference released its championship brackets Monday. Seven University of Wyoming student-athletes earned a seed headlined by No. 2 Joey Novak (197).

Eddie Neitenbach (184) and Christian Carroll (HWT) each reeled in a No. 3 seed. Sloan Swan (165) was awarded the No. 7 seed, while Luke Willochell (133), Gabe Willochell (149) and Jared Hill (157) each garnered a No. 8 seed. Sefton Douglass (125). David Saenz (141) and Riley Davis enter the tournament unseeded.

Allocations were announced last week. 133, 184 and 197 all got eight allocations each. 141 and 174 were given seven automatic bids to the NCAA Championships. HWT has six up for grabs in Tulsa, Oklahoma. 125, 149 and 157 each have five allocations while 165 has four.

The Big 12 Championships kick off Friday at 9 a.m. inside the BOK Center.
