Back where we belong

PINEDALE — Some things are worth fighting for, including our communities and your access to local news.
On the morning of August 6, your Wyoming journalists and media professionals took up this fight for you, and we haven’t stopped. Through the weekend, overnight, from our home offices across the state and even a hospital bed, we have pushed forward because you deserve nothing less than our exhaustive efforts.
We know what this legacy newspaper, founded in 1904, means to you. I hope our efforts underscore the depths of our commitment to continuing to serve you. I have always said that good community journalism could not exist without the communities we serve.
That sentiment has never been more clear in my mind than it is right now.
Your outpouring of support has carried us these last few days, and it’s what got us back into the newsroom and brought this paper to a newsstand today. I cannot thank you enough.
We are short on time and space this week, so it seems fitting to close by reaffirming the promise I made to you three years ago when I took the helm as the managing editor of the Pinedale Roundup: “I’ll give you all I’ve got for as long as you’ll let me.”
Stay tuned! Exciting things are coming!
