14-year-old the victim of Saturday stabbing in Riverton

RIVERTON (WNE) — The hashtag “Justice for Draven Addison” is circulating on social media, attached to the obituary for the 14-year-old Riverton boy believed to be the victim of a fatal stabbing on Saturday morning on Honor Farm Road.
The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office and Riverton Police Department responded to a 911 call just before 4 a.m. reporting that a teen had been stabbed during a fight on the 100 block of Honor Farm Road, and that he was bleeding from the back.
While Addison was reportedly breathing at the time of the call and police and EMS provided medical treatment, he was pronounced dead a short time later at the scene.
Fremont County Undersheriff Mike Hutchison said a group of juvenile males at the scene had been involved in a fight, and that the suspect and several others fled before police arrived. Anyone with information is urged to contact FCSO Detective Wes Barry at 307-332-5611.
Draven Addison is remembered for his love of music and animals – particularly cats – along with swimming, fishing, camping and hiking. “He found joy in the rain, butterflies, and all of God’s creation,” his obituary shares. “He was a sweet and kindhearted young man who loved life, nature and his family deeply … Draven will be remembered as a gentle, loving, and joyful young man who brought light to all who knew him.”
