Cowboy hats crowded the halls and elevators and stairways and restaurants of Casper, Wyoming’s Ramkota Hotel last weekend. The reservations desk was crowded with booted cowboys and cowgirls of all ages asking for keys and luggage carts to the rooms they’d reserved well in advance.

Chris Russel “Russ” Christensen, inducted into the Wyoming Cowboy Hall of Fame,says he values family, land, and livestock, and places a great deal of weight on being a man of integrity whose word is his bond.
Chris Russell "Russ" Christensen, a resident of the homestead he was born on in 1930, was inducted into the Wyoming Cowboy Hall of Fame in 2021. Except for the years he served as a medic in the army during the Korean War, he has lived his whole life on the homestead his father acquired in 1910.

Straitor Clark, Sundance rancher, was recently honored posthumously by the Wyoming Cowboy Hall of Fame for his life full of hard work and cowboying. Top photos, Clark working hard on the ranch and with his team of horses. Janet Hutchinson, his daughter, says that her father was always characterized by his work ethic.
