Four Wrestlers Earn NWCA Scholar All-American Honor

LARAMIE, Wyoming (4/1/26) – The National Wrestling Coaches Association announced its Scholar All-Americans on Wednesday. Four University of Wyoming student-athletes earned the honor.

Luke Willochell (133), Jared Hill (157), Riley Davis (174) and Eddie Neitenbach (184) all met the requirements. In order to qualify, a wrestler must have either earned All-American status with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher; or been an NCAA qualifier with a 3.25 cumulative GPA or higher; or been a conference tournament participant with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher; or competed in at least 15 matches with a win percentage of .600 or higher with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Neitenbach captured his first-career All-American honor in Cleveland last month. Davis was a first-time NCAA qualifier who also logged a win in the tournament. Willochell was a first-time qualifier, as a freshman, and Hill finished eighth at the Big 12 Championships.
