KENNETH MARTIN BURLESON

Kenneth Martin Burleson, 75, of Newcastle, died at Rapid City Regional Hospital on Feb. 11, 2012, after an extended illness. As per Kenny's request, cremation has taken place. A 'celebration of life' is planned for July of this year, in the place his life began the Black Hills of South Dakota. Funeral services for Kenneth Fall were held at 10 a.m. on Feb. 10 at Gillette Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Doug Rumsey of Antelope Valley Baptist Church officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation was held from 4-7 p.m. Feb. 9 at Gillette Memorial Chapel. Kenny left us to join his Heavenly Father on Feb. 6, 2012, at Close To Home Hospice, of natural causes, with his wife by his side. Memorials are suggested to benefit the Close To Home Hospice. HARLAN G. HANSON
July 27, 1942 – Jan. 31, 2012
Harlan G. Hanson Jr., 69, of Moorcroft, passed away Jan. 31, 2012, at the Central Wyoming Hospice in Casper, after a long battle with cancer. A Memorial service was held at 10 a.m. on Feb. 11 at The Vineyard at Pine Haven, with Pastor Duke Taber officiating. Military honors will be performed by the VFW Post 8473 Honor Guard of Moorcroft. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, S.D. Arrangements are under the direction of Black Hills Funeral Home in Sturgis. GARRY G. JOHNSON
Aug. 1, 1941 – Feb. 8, 2012
Funeral services for Newcastle native Garry Johnson, 70, were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 13, at First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Paul Holland officiating. Burial followed at Greenwood Cemetery in Newcastle under direction of Worden Funeral Directors. The family prefers memorial contributions to Weston County Physical Therapy. Visitation was scheduled for Feb. 12 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Worden Chapel. Mr. Johnson died unexpectedly on Feb. 8, 2012, at Weston County Health Services, following a brief illness.
