MELVA ARLENE (BAY) RAWHOUSER

Melva Arlene Rawhouser passed away Feb. 26, 2023, at Weston County Manor, after a stroke in November 2013. 
 
She was born Sept. 16, 1938, at the family ranch north of Hulett, Wyoming (close to Seeley, Wyoming) to Tom and Arlene (Stull) Bay.
 
She attended schools in Hulett and Moorcroft, Wyoming.
 
In 1953, she married Jack Bolin. Together they had a daughter, Barbara “Bobbi” Marie Bolin.
 
In 1958, she married James Franklin. Together they had three daughters and one son: a daughter, stillborn (unnamed), a son, Ricky James, a daughter, Raelene Dee, and a daughter, Roxy Lee.
 
She then married Dale Malley, inheriting a step-son, Sonny.
 
In 1978, she married Mike Rawhouser.
 
Melva loved socializing with her friends, dancing, fishing, and gardening. Her jobs consisted of waitressing, bartending, cleaning motels, and doing income taxes for multiple people. 
 
She is survived by her brother, Gene Bay of Newcastle; her daughters, Raelene (Kurt) Wilson of Cleburne, Texas, and Roxy (Gayle) Weeg of Newcastle; grandchildren, Michelle (Lee) Nuss of Belgrade, Montana, Marcie (Mike) Hobbs of Powell, Wyoming, Megan (Pat) Lengerich of Madison, Indiana, Cody (Jessica) Nielsen of Hulett, Mandy (Nick) Ringler of Marsing, Idaho, Trista (Anthony) Wiggin of Cleburne, Justin (Keisha) Wilson of Fort Worth, Texas, Lonnie Weeg of Rapid City, South Dakota, Jesse (Heather) Weeg of Gillette, Wyoming, Colton Weeg of Amherst, Wisconsin; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
 
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Mike Rawhouser; daughters, stillborn and Bobbi Nielsen; and son, Ricky James.
 
At the request of Melva, she wished for cremation and no services.
